ENGINEERING PROGRAMME MANAGER

The business continues to enjoy strong and sustained growth, leading to a vacancy for an Engineering Programme Manager. The successful applicant will be a key member of our engineering team with responsibility for the co-ordination of our design and development activity.

The role will be based at our Isle of Wight facility.

Skills, knowledge and attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline (or equivalent)
• Self-motivated with a methodical approach to problem solving and project delivery
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Experienced in project planning, scheduling, costing/estimating and configuration management (ideally within the Aerospace/Defence sector)
• Experienced in the production of reporting data for projects

Salary:  Negotiable dependent on skills, knowledge and experience

TRAINEE TECHNICAL AUTHOR

The business is currently enjoying a strong and sustained period of growth, leading to a vacancy for a Trainee Technical Author. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is seeking a challenging role within an established business.

The successful applicant will be trained to be responsible for the creation of technical documentation to support our engineering team through the design and development of our next generation of products.

You will be based at our Isle of Wight facility.

Skills, knowledge and attributes:

• Excellent written English
• Methodical in approach
• High level of attention to detail
• Thorough working knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent organisational skills
• Educated to technician/degree level or equivalent in a technical discipline
• Knowledge of the aerospace industry an advantage
