1. Installation
Q: Does installation take longer than a standard jack?
A: No. For the module, it takes about the same time.
The advantage arises when you replace broken jacks -
because you only replace the cartridges, which takes just a few seconds.
Q: Does installation require special tools?
A: No. Initial installation requires the same tools.
Subsequent cartridge replacements require only a small Allen key.
Q: Can we install on an attrition basis?
A: Certainly, if you prefer. Our Rapid Fit Modules are designed to replace most existing Jack Modules. The best advantages arise from a complete aircraft retrofit, where your spares holding is greatly reduced, and maintenance operations are made more efficient.

Q: Are the new jacks compatible with the old standard?
A: The new Rapid-Fit Jacks are a form, function and fit replacement -
totally compatible.
Q: Is there any impact upon my IFE system?
A: No. Other than a noticebale improvement in Reliability and Availability.
Q: What about Certification?
A: All Rapid Fit Jacks are available with PMA.
Q: Are there any adjustments or calibration required?
A: No. Once installed, the new jacks function exactly the same as the old type.
Q: What is the life of a Rapid Fit cartridge?
A: The replacement cartridges have been designed and tested for a minimum of 20,000 headset plug insertions, whereas most existing jacks fail at around 5,000 insertions. This means that it lasts 4 times longer.

3. Finances
Q: Does the new jack cost more than the old type?
A: The Rapid Fit Jack is designed to save you money. Initial costs will be comparable, but the cost of replacements are significantly lower. We don't know what you are paying today, so we can only estimate the savings for you.
Q: How much can I save?

Q: How soon will my investment pay back?
A: Based on the figures given above, We estimate the breakeven to be less than 18months.
Q: What other benefits are there?
A: Seat Availability. Because you can repair a seat so quickly, seats won't sit around with non-functioning IFE, meaning that you will get fewer complaints to deal with.
Q: Can I have it in my choice of colour?
A: Normally, however certain colours may require special processing, and this may affect price and delivery.

Q: Can I purchase directly from you?
