Testing
All inflight Peripherals audio jack products undergo a series
of mechanical and electrical tests to simulate in-service abuse and wear
conditions. There is currently no set of standard audio jack tests that
adequately represent the conditions experienced inside an aircraft cabin.
In recognition of this situation, we have developed our own set of tests
which we subject all of our audio jack products. As active members of
the WAEA technical working groups, we are currently leading the team concerned
with Audio Jack reliability, and hope to produce a standard set of tests
that all IFE suppliers can use for the evaluation of any audio jack product.
