Testing
All inflight Peripherals audio jack products undergo
a series of mechanical and electrical tests to simulate in-service
abuse and wear conditions. There is currently no set of standard
audio jack tests that adequately represent the conditions
experienced inside an aircraft cabin. In recognition of this
situation, we have developed our own set of tests which we subject
all of our audio jack products. We are pleased to announce that this
test specification has recently been adopted by the WAEA as a
standard and should soon be incorporated into the industry standard
for IFE equipment, ARINC 628.
Our Audio Jack Test Procedure is available to
download here. We welcome any comments and suggestions you may have.
