INCAM™ Integrated Noise Cancelling Audio Module

The reduction of unwanted background noise has become desirable to maximise your passengers’ enjoyment of their entertainment system. Noise cancellation headsets are popular, but not available to all passengers due to their cost and vulnerability to damage.

IFPL's INCAM™ module has been designed to bring low cost noise cancellation to all classes, either as an upgrade option or as part of a new system installation.

Cost Effective
With INCAM™ the expensive and complex noise cancellation electronics are housed in the jack module, not the headset. This means that the headsets required are much simpler, the initial costs are lower and on-going maintenance costs are significantly reduced. You still require microphones in the ear cups of the headsets to pick up the noise, but again they are a lower cost option.

Reliable
IFPL's Long Life™ INCAM™ jack has been tested to over 100,000 headset plug insertions; this reliability is typically ten times longer than any comparable jack on the market.

Fast
The INCAM™ Rapid Fit™ jack has been designed to be quick and easy to replace in the event of failure due to damage or breakage. The removable cassette is replaceable by simply undoing one screw, eliminating the need to remove the whole module from the seat. This operation means the noise cancelling electronics remain safely housed in the module, whilst the audio jack cassette is replaced. Versatile
INCAM™ Long Life™ and Rapid Fit™ jacks are available for single, dual and triple pin headsets. The advantage of fitting INCAM™ is that regular single and dual pin non-noise cancelling headsets can still be used, allowing the service provider to decide when to opt for noise cancellation.

Headset Compatibility: Type D1-1. Type A1/B1 can be used, but stereo left and right will be reversed

Configuration: Dual pin, Rapid Fit. Type D1-2, Reverse wired stereo (3.5mm + 2.5mm)
Headset Compatibility: Type D1-2 (reverse wired, i.e. tip left). Type A1/B1 single stereo regular headset

INCAM 1155 Jack

Configuration: Triple pin, Long Life Type C2 modified (Dual 3.5mm + 2.5mm which provides 12v dc power(C2) or acts as dummy pin (C2 modified))
Headset Compatibility: C2 modified and D2 (long life INCAMs) and C2 powered NC headset, A2/B2 dual pin and A1/B1 single pin, stereo regular headsets
